Advanced Throwing Course

Service Description

Do you consider yourself an intermediate potter and would like to learn to throw bigger? This is the course for you! In this 8-hour course, you will learn how to make rather large vessels and techniques in the centering of larger amounts of clay ranging from 3lbs-10lbs. Your instructor will go over efficiency in the usage of clay, drying techniques, throwing vertical vessels, and using special tools to pull up needle necks, and bottles. The course includes (2) 4-hour classes, class clay, firings, and glazing.
