Anyone Here Have Experience with Wallpaper in Warmer Climates?

I’m considering installing wallpaper in my home, but I live in a pretty hot, dry area and I’m not sure how that affects long-term durability. I’ve heard humidity can be an issue in some places, but what about constant heat and strong AC use?

Do certain types of wallpaper or adhesives perform better in these conditions? I want something that will last and not start lifting at the seams after a year or two. Any real-world experiences would help.

I’m in California and dealt with similar concerns. Heat itself isn’t usually the main problem — it’s temperature fluctuation and how well the walls are prepped. In my case, proper priming and letting the wallpaper acclimate before hanging made a big difference. When we decided not to DIY, we looked into professional wallpaper installation Fresno https://bestwallpaperinstaller.com/locations/wallpaper-installation-fresno/ services because we wanted it done right the first time. The installer explained how adhesive choice and wall moisture levels still matter, even in dry climates. Two years later, the seams are still tight and there’s no peeling. Good prep and proper installation really determine how well wallpaper holds up over time.
